Custom Gym Shirts and Tanks
Custom gym shirts for independent gyms, functional fitness boxes, yoga studios and personal trainers. Coach tees that survive a full week of classes, and member merch people pull on for errands, not only for the workout. Printed in Fort Collins, Colorado and shipped anywhere in the United States.
Gym shirts, gym tank tops, gym hoodies and hats, with no minimum order. Put your logo on a real garment in the studio below, change the quantity, and see your price before you talk to anyone.
Build Your Gym Shirts Right Here
Drop your gym logo on a real shirt, pick a color, and set how many you need. The price for your custom gym shirts updates as you go, so you can compare a small coach order against a full member run. It opens on a soft cotton tee that suits both the front desk and the floor.
Custom Gym Shirts Do Two Jobs at Once
Most gym orders are really two orders that share a logo. One is what your coaches wear on the floor. The other is what members buy and wear out in the world. They get chosen differently, and treating them as one shirt is where most gyms go wrong.
Coach and Staff Shirts
A coach shirt is a uniform. It gets sweated through, chalked up and washed several times a week, and it has to tell a brand new member who to ask for help from across the room. Pick one color for staff and keep it away from the colors you sell to members.
Put the word Coach or Staff large on the back, since the back is what people see when someone is demonstrating a lift or adjusting a pose. Order two or three per person so nobody is washing the same shirt every night.
Member Merch
Member merch is a product. It competes with every other shirt in a drawer, so the test is simple. Would someone wear it to the grocery store? A softer tee, a design with some thought in it, and a fit people like will outsell a stiff shirt with a giant logo.
Members also wear it to other gyms, races and competitions, which is where your gym name travels furthest. A smaller chest mark with a bold back print usually reads better in photos and on a barbell than one oversized front logo.
You can run both in one order and share the artwork. Choose a durable, simple shirt for the people who work in it all day, and a softer one for the people who are choosing to buy it. See both prices in the studio before you decide on a split.
Custom Gym Apparel We Print and Embroider

Screen Printed Gym Tees
The core of most custom gym apparel orders. Soft cotton and blended tees for coaches and members, printed with ink that holds up to frequent hot washes.

Gym Tank Tops and Hoodies
Gym tank tops for summer and the hot room, gym hoodies for cold morning classes and the walk in from the parking lot. One design can run across both.

Embroidered Hats and Beanies
Stitched hats and beanies for coaches and the retail shelf. They fit everyone, need no size run, and keep selling long after a seasonal shirt is gone.

Price Coach Shirts and Member Merch Together
One logo and one order can cover the staff and the retail shelf. Set your quantities and see your price in the studio.
Start With One Shirt
A new coach, a personal trainer working solo, or a sample to hang by the desk. One piece is a real order here, and the price per shirt drops as you add more.
See It Before It Prints
Every order gets a proof showing your logo, its size and its placement on the garment. Nothing is printed until you approve it, so the box that arrives holds no surprises.
Rough Logo Is Fine
Plenty of gym logos started as a phone sketch or a blurry social media image. We clean up or redraw artwork so the lines stay sharp on fabric.
A Person Picks Up
Call on a weekday between 9am and 5pm Mountain and a person answers. Useful when you are between classes and have a quick question about sizes or timing.
When Gyms Order Shirts Through the Year
A gym has a calendar that members feel even if nobody writes it down. Shirts land best when they are tied to a moment people already care about. Count back about 14 days from the date, plus time to settle the proof.
January brings new faces. A welcome shirt in the first month gives a new member something to wear on the days it is hard to show up, and it makes them feel like they belong early.
An in-house challenge, a partner throwdown or a lifting meet deserves its own dated shirt. Keep the run close to the sign-up list, since an event shirt rarely sells once the day has passed.
When the bay doors go up, sleeves come off. Order tank tops and lighter colors ahead of the first hot week, because that is when members start asking for them at the front desk.
The gym anniversary and the holiday season are the natural times for hoodies and a limited design. Take orders ahead of time so sizes are right, then print once.
The practical approach is one undated logo shirt that is always available, plus a few small dated runs each year.
Print Methods for Custom Gym Shirts That Survive Training
Gym shirts live a harder life than almost any other printed shirt. They stretch across shoulders, soak through, rub against a barbell or a mat, and go through a hot wash several times a week. The print method and the fabric both matter more here than on a shirt worn once a month.
Screen printing is the right call for most gym orders. On cotton and cotton blends the ink sits in the fabric, flexes with it and outlasts the shirt when it is cured properly. Price per piece falls as the run grows, and each added ink color adds cost, so a one or two color design is the sweet spot for a member run.
Performance polyester is a different animal. Dye from the fabric can creep into light inks over time, and those garments need the right ink and lower heat. Direct-to-film handles full-color art and short runs well, though a large transfer has a film feel across the chest. Tell us the fabric you want and we will match the method to it.
Embroidery belongs on hats, beanies, polos and the chest of a hoodie. It is too stiff and heavy for a thin tee, where it puckers and pulls. Small text is the other thing to watch. Thin letters fill in on soft, textured fabric, so a tagline or founding date often needs to go up a size.
Competition or Grand Opening Coming Up
Tell us the date and what you need. Standard turnaround is about 14 days from proof approval, and if it is tight, ask.
Selling Shirts at the Front Desk Without the Leftovers
The box of leftover smalls in the office closet is a familiar sight in gyms. It usually comes from ordering an even spread of sizes for a room full of people who are not evenly spread. Your members will tell you what they want if you ask before you print.
A preorder is the simplest fix. Put a sheet at the front desk or a form in your member group for a week, collect sizes and payment, then order that list plus a few extras for walk-ins and new sign-ups. Since there is no minimum, a small first run costs you nothing but a slightly higher price per piece.
Keep the design count low. One strong design in two shirt colors outsells four designs competing for attention on the same rack. Inside jokes from the whiteboard make great limited runs for the regulars, while your everyday shirt should make sense to someone who has never set foot in the building.
Then put the shirts where people stand around. A shelf near the check-in desk or the chalk bucket sells more than a box behind the counter, and a coach wearing the new design to class on Monday is the best display you have.
Gym Shirt Questions
Is there a minimum order for custom gym shirts?
No. You can order a single one of our custom gym shirts for a new coach or a full run for the membership. The price per piece drops as the quantity goes up, and the studio shows that change live as you adjust the number. Many gyms start with a small run to test a design, then reorder once they see which sizes and colors sell.
How long do custom gym shirts take?
Standard turnaround is about 14 days from the day you approve your proof, then shipping from Fort Collins, Colorado. If you have a competition, a challenge kickoff or an opening date that is closer than that, ask us before you order. Sometimes it can be done faster, and we will tell you honestly if it cannot.
What shirt works best for coaches who sweat in it all day?
A soft cotton or cotton blend tee is comfortable, takes screen print ink well and handles frequent washing. Blends tend to dry a little quicker and hold their shape. If your coaches prefer a performance polyester shirt, tell us, because that fabric needs a different ink approach to keep the print looking clean.
Can you print tank tops and hoodies with the same design?
Yes. The same artwork can run across tees, long sleeve tees, tank tops and hoodies in one order. The print may need to be sized down a little for a tank, where the armholes and neckline leave less room, and we will show that on the proof. Mixing garments is a good way to give members a choice of cut.
Will the print crack or peel after a lot of washes?
A properly cured screen print flexes with the fabric and generally outlasts the shirt. Washing inside out in cool water and skipping the hottest dryer setting helps any print last. For custom gym shirts that get washed constantly, we steer toward lighter, more open designs, since a thick slab of ink is the first thing to show wear.
Our logo is just a phone photo of a sketch. Can you use it?
Usually, yes. Send what you have and we will clean it up or redraw it so it prints well. We will point out anything that needs changing, such as thin lines or tiny lettering that would fill in on fabric. You see the result on a proof before your custom gym shirts go to print.
Can members order their own shirts?
The simplest route is for the gym to collect sizes and place one order, since everyone gets the better per-piece price that way. A sign-up sheet or a short form for a week usually does it. If you only need a few pieces for a small group, the studio lets you order those directly with no minimum.
Do you make compression gear, leggings or shorts?
No. We do not make compression tops, leggings, shorts or sublimated jerseys. What we do make sits right alongside them, which is t-shirts, long sleeve tees, tank tops, polos, hoodies, hats and beanies, decorated with screen printing, embroidery or direct-to-film.
