Print at six dollars, sell at fifteen. Keep it to one or two ink colors and the margin holds up.

Real per-shirt numbers from the engine the studio quotes from. This is the table worth having open when somebody asks what it will cost per person.
The drop from 24 to 48 is the one that matters. If your group is close to that line it is usually worth finding a few more people.
| Group size | Tee, 1 color | Tee, 3 colors | Hoodie, 3 colors | Hat, stitched |

Per piece, all in. Tee is a Gildan 5000, hoodie a Gildan 18500, hat a Richardson 112 with a left chest logo. Names and numbers are priced by hand rather than through the calculator because every piece is different.
Rarely the printing. Almost always the organizing.
The most common mistake is guessing the size spread and ordering early to be safe. You end up with nine smalls nobody wanted and three people who never got a shirt.
Collect sizes first even if it feels slow. One order with the real spread costs less per shirt than the original order plus the inevitable second run, and a second run of six shirts is priced like a run of six shirts.

Every ink color is another screen and another setup. A four color design at 24 pieces can cost half again what a two color version of the same idea costs, and from across a field nobody can tell.
If the budget is the constraint, cut colors before you cut garment quality. A one color print on a decent shirt beats a four color print on a cheap one every time.

Standard turnaround is about 14 days and the clock starts when you approve the mockup, not when you place the order. Artwork going back and forth is what eats the buffer.
Work backwards from the date and add a week. If you are already inside that window, tell us the date up front and we will tell you honestly whether it works before you spend anything.

For a straightforward run of shirts they work, and the group-pay feature is genuinely convenient.
The catch is that convenience is priced in, and it shows up per shirt. If you collect sizes yourself and place one order you almost always land lower, and you get somebody who will tell you honestly whether your date is realistic rather than a checkout that accepts any date you type.

Five steps, and the slow one is yours.
This is the step that decides whether the rest goes smoothly.
In the studio, with the per-shirt price in front of you.

Crews, teams and events, in gear they actually wore.

The simplest way is to collect sizes yourself, then place one order with the size spread. That gets you the best per-shirt price because the whole group counts as one run. If you would rather each person paid separately, tell us and we will talk through what that looks like.
Yes, but it changes the job. Names and numbers make every piece different, so it is priced by hand rather than through the calculator. Send it through the bulk pricing door with the roster and we will price it properly.
A one-color print on a Gildan 5000 at 144 pieces is about $6.02 a shirt. Sell at fifteen and you clear nearly nine dollars a shirt. The two things that wreck fundraiser margins are too many ink colors and ordering before you know how many you can actually sell.
Standard turnaround is about 14 days from the moment you approve the mockup, not from when you place the order. For anything tied to a fixed date, work backwards from the date and add a week of slack for artwork going back and forth.
Set the quantity to your headcount in the studio and read the per-shirt number. That is the figure to take back to people, and it already includes the garment, the printing and the setup.
