Stitch Your Logo on a Full-Zip Fleece

24-Piece MinimumA design is one fleece style in one color, with every size counting toward the 24.
Shipping IncludedUPS Ground shipping sits inside the per-piece price, so the studio total is the total.

Not All Custom Fleece Jackets Stitch the Same

The word fleece covers fabrics that behave very differently under a needle. Before choosing a jacket, it helps to know which kind you are looking at, because the right logo for one can look muddy on another. The good news is that every one of them takes embroidery well when the setup matches the fabric.

Classic brushed fleece has a raised, fuzzy pile on the outside. Thread wants to sink into that pile, so the embroidery is built up with an underlay that flattens a bed for the stitches to sit on.

Sweater-knit fleece looks like a heathered wool sweater on the outside and feels soft and brushed inside. Its smooth knit face takes lettering more cleanly than a fuzzy pile does, which makes it the better pick when your logo includes a tagline or a small town name under the icon.

Soft shell is not fleece at all on the outside. It is a smooth stretch face with a thin fleece lining bonded behind it. That stretch means the logo needs a firm backing behind it so the fabric does not shift and ripple as the machine works.

Across all three, simple shapes win. A bold icon with one or two words reads on any of them. Thin script, outlined letters and long phrases are where fleece embroidery struggles, and we will tell you on the proof if a detail is going to fill in.

Price a Fleece Run in Minutes

Pick a fleece or a soft shell, add your logo and enter a count. Numbers change on screen as you go, so you can try two makers side by side before you decide.

Sizes Mixed, One Order

Smalls through the biggest sizes all count toward the 24, so the whole team fits in one run. The per-piece price drops as the total grows.

Proof Before Production

You see the logo placed on the jacket with its size and thread colors listed. If anything looks off, we change it before the machine runs.

Art Cleaned Up for Thread

We redraw rough or detailed logos into bolder shapes that hold up in fleece pile, so lettering stays readable instead of sinking into the fabric.

Weekday Phone Help

A person answers on weekdays from 9am to 5pm Mountain. Call to talk through fleece versus soft shell, sizing or whether your date still works.

Fleece or Soft Shell for Your Team

This is the first question to settle, and the answer depends on where your people stand all day. Both are warm, both take a stitched logo and both layer well. The difference shows up in wind, weather and how dressed up the jacket needs to look.

Where Fleece Makes Sense

Fleece breathes. A trail guide climbing with a group, a teacher on recess duty or a shop crew loading trucks will run warm, and fleece lets that heat out instead of trapping it. It is soft enough to wear all day and light enough to stuff in a pack when the afternoon warms up.

It is also the friendlier gift. A full-zip fleece feels casual and comfortable, so it gets worn on weekends, which means your logo goes to the grocery store and the ballfield along with its owner.

Where Soft Shell Earns It

Wind cuts straight through fleece. On a ridge, a ski hill, a lake dock or a parking lot in a Colorado gust, a soft shell blocks the breeze and sheds light drizzle that would soak a fleece through. Its smooth face also looks sharper over a collared shirt at a client meeting.

Soft shell runs a little stiffer and does not breathe as freely, so it suits people who stand still more than those who hike hard. Many teams order both, fleece for the active crew and soft shell for the front of house.

If you split the order, keep the logo placement and thread colors the same on both. Different jackets wearing an identical mark still read as one team across a trailhead or a trade show floor.

Picking a Maker for Custom Embroidered Fleece Jackets

Our fleece jackets with company logo come from Columbia, Eddie Bauer, Carhartt and The North Face, plus a value full-zip and a sweater-knit fleece for bigger runs. We buy them through authorized apparel distributors, so every jacket is a genuine garment from its maker.

Each maker keeps its own small logo on the jacket, and we leave it alone. Yours sits in the space the maker kept clear, the left chest on every style we carry, and most also accept a second mark on a sleeve or across the upper back.

Carhartt and The North Face fleece is only sold decorated, so every one of those jackets leaves with your logo on it. On large orders, either brand may also want to approve your logo first. That approval runs through the distributor and can add time before production, so plan the bigger orders early.

Choosing between makers is mostly about the look your team wants. Carhartt reads as a work brand, The North Face and Columbia read as outdoor gear, and Eddie Bauer sits somewhere between the trail and the office. Colors change with the season, so check what shows live in the studio before you settle on one.

Field crew in one maker and the office in another is a smart split, and the same logo file works across both. Each style and color is its own run of 24, with any mix of sizes inside it.

Timing, Fit and Wear for Custom Jackets With Your Logo

Custom jackets with your logo are a seasonal buy. Guide companies want them before the fall shoulder season, ski shops before opening day, schools before the first cold recess and offices before the holiday gift list closes. Standard turnaround is about 14 days from proof approval, and the weeks before that disappear while sizes get collected.

Fit depends on what goes underneath. A fleece worn over a tee wants its usual size, while one that has to fit over a hoodie or under a parka may need a size up. Hand out a short sizing form, and if a few people stay quiet, order an extra medium and large rather than guessing at everyone else.

Fleece wears in predictable places. Pilling starts at the cuffs, the hips and wherever a pack strap rubs. Washing fleece with towels loads it with lint, and a hot dryer melts the tips of the fibers so the pile goes flat and shiny. Cold water, inside out and a low tumble or a hang dry keep it soft much longer.

Zippers take a beating on jackets that get pulled on and off all day. Closing the zipper before washing protects the teeth and the fabric around them. The embroidery itself is rarely the first thing to go, and well backed stitching usually looks good long after the fleece around it has started to pill.

For a team that works outdoors, plan a second round each fall for new hires. New staff need jackets, and the original crew wears theirs out. Save the approved proof, and the reorder starts from the same art with no new setup questions.

Questions About Custom Fleece Jackets

What is the minimum for custom fleece jackets?

Orders start at 24 pieces per design, meaning one fleece style in one color with any mix of sizes. The same logo file carries across every style you pick, and each style or color starts its own run of 24. Olive Branch Apparel in Fort Collins, Colorado embroiders every jacket, production takes about 14 days from proof approval, and UPS Ground shipping to any US address is included in the price.

Can you print on fleece instead of embroidering?

Our fleece and outerwear are embroidered. Thread sits up on the pile and handles washing and stretching better than ink does on a fuzzy surface. A big printed design belongs on a tee or long sleeve, with the jackets carrying the embroidered version.

Will a small tagline under our logo show up on fleece?

On classic brushed fleece, small lettering tends to sink into the pile. Sweater-knit fleece and soft shell hold it much better. We will show you on the proof how the tagline looks, and suggest dropping or enlarging it if it will not read.

Is fleece or soft shell better for an outdoor crew?

Fleece is better for people who move and run warm, because it breathes. Soft shell is better in wind and light drizzle and looks sharper over a collar. Many teams order custom fleece jackets for the field and soft shell for the office.

Can you remove the brand logo on the jacket?

No, the maker's mark stays, and nothing gets stitched on top of it. Plan your custom fleece jackets around the open left chest, which is where your logo lands, and add a sleeve or upper back mark if you want a second one.

Can we order blank Carhartt or North Face fleece to fill in later?

No. We cannot sell either brand blank, so every jacket from them carries your logo. Order a few extra sizes up front instead, since adding a handful later means a new order.

How far ahead should we order for fall?

Standard turnaround is about 14 days from proof approval. Allow extra time for collecting sizes, and more on a large Carhartt or North Face order that needs brand approval. If you have a fixed date, call before you approve the proof and we will tell you plainly whether it fits.

How should staff wash an embroidered fleece?

Zip it, turn it inside out and wash in cold water away from towels. Tumble low or hang it to dry. High heat flattens fleece pile and can pucker the area around the stitching, and that is what makes a jacket look old early.

Can you embroider on fleece?

Yes. Fleece takes embroidery well when the stitch setup matches the pile, and we set that up for every fleece we sell, with a backing underneath and a base layer that keeps the stitches on top of the nap.

How much do custom fleece jackets with our logo cost?

Price depends on the jacket you choose, how dense your logo is in thread and how many you need. The studio shows the per-piece number live, and shipping to any US address is already built in, so nothing is added for it at checkout.

Why use a shop for fleece instead of a big online printer?

A person in Fort Collins answers the phone weekdays 9 to 5 Mountain and knows how thread behaves on each fleece. You see a proof first, rough art is redrawn for stitching, shipping is already in the price, and any brand approval is handled for you.
