Pressure Washing Shirts
Custom pressure washing shirts for owner operators and crews in pressure washing, soft washing, window cleaning and exterior cleaning. Olive Branch Apparel prints and embroiders tees, long sleeve tees, hoodies and hats from our shop in Fort Collins, Colorado, and ships across the United States.
Your shirt works in full sun, gets soaked by noon and catches overspray from the mix. It is also the sign your next customer reads from across the street. Design yours in the studio below and see your price as you build, with no minimum order.
Design Your Pressure Washing Shirts Here
Put your company logo and phone number on a real garment, set the count, and see the price for custom pressure washing shirts update as you go. The studio opens on a long sleeve tee, which covers your arms through a full day outside.
Custom Pressure Washing Shirts Meet Bleach and Sun
Most work shirts wear out from abrasion. In exterior cleaning they are damaged by chemistry and weather first. Two things do most of the harm, the sodium hypochlorite in a soft wash mix and the sun overhead, and each one points toward a different choice.
Bleach and Overspray
Soft wash mix strips dye from cotton. A navy or black cotton tee picks up orange and pink spots from drift, drips off a ladder and a wet hand wiped on a hip. The spots are permanent, and they can show up within days of a new shirt going into service.
There are two ways to live with it. Light colors such as white, ash and pale gray have little dye to lose, so the damage hides. Polyester fabrics also generally hold their color against bleach better than cotton does. Rinsing a shirt after a roof wash slows the damage on any fabric.
Sun and Water
Long days outside fade dark cotton across the shoulders and upper back, and dark shirts run hotter in direct sun. A light long sleeve tee keeps the sun off your forearms without the weight of a hoodie. No garment here carries a sun protection rating, so treat it as coverage.
Water is the other constant. Cotton soaks up spray, gets heavy and stays wet against your skin. That feels fine in July and miserable on a cool spring morning. Lighter fabrics and blends dry quicker, and a spare dry shirt in the truck is cheap comfort.
Put together, the practical uniform for many crews is a light colored shirt, long sleeved in peak sun, with a dark logo instead of a dark shirt. Keep the black tees and hoodies for estimates, trade shows and cold mornings before the mix comes out.

Shirts and Hats for the Whole Crew
One logo across pressure washing company shirts, long sleeves and hats keeps your crew recognizable, and the studio prices each piece as you build.
Order One Shirt at a Time
Solo operators can order a single shirt, and a replacement for the one the mix ruined is a normal order. Larger runs bring the per-piece price down when you are ready.
Check the Phone Number First
Your proof shows the back print at real size, digits included. You confirm the number, the spelling and the placement before anything is printed, so a typo never reaches a shirt.
Price It From the Truck
The studio shows the price live as you change garment and quantity, so you can sort out an order between jobs without waiting for a callback.
No Logo Yet Is Fine
New companies often have a name and a rough sketch. Send what you have, and we will clean up or redraw it so it prints clearly at shirt size.
When Exterior Cleaning Companies Order Shirts
Exterior cleaning is seasonal in most of the country, and apparel should arrive before the phone starts ringing. Standard turnaround is about 14 days from proof approval, so each of these moments needs a head start. Here is how the year usually runs.
The first warm weekend brings a wave of house wash and driveway calls. Have fresh shirts in hand by then, since nobody wants to approve a proof from a roof.
By the hottest months, the spring shirts are spotted and faded. A small top-up of light long sleeve tees and hats keeps the crew presentable through the busy stretch.
Gutter cleaning and window cleaning carry many companies through autumn, and holiday lighting follows for some. Hoodies and beanies ordered in early fall are ready for the first cold start.
Seasonal helpers come and go. Keeping your logo and garment choice settled means one or two shirts can be ordered the week someone starts, with no decisions to reopen.
Owner operators often order the other way around, a few pieces at a time as shirts wear out. That works because there is no minimum. If you know you will go through a stack of shirts in a season, ordering them together gets you a better per-piece price.
How Custom Pressure Washing Shirts Get Printed
Screen printing is the default for crew shirts. Cured ink handles water, sweat and repeated washing well, and a one or two color logo keeps the cost down on shirts you expect to replace. Each ink color needs its own screen, so a simplified logo is the economical version.
Mind the size of solid areas. A large filled rectangle of ink or film across the back does not breathe, and in summer it turns into a hot, sticky patch between your shoulders. Lettering and open line art with shirt showing through wear far cooler than a solid block.
DTF, or direct-to-film, earns its place on small runs and full-color logos, such as a water droplet with a gradient or a detailed house illustration. It needs no screen for each color, so three shirts for a new company are practical. Keep the design open for the same heat reason.
Embroidery is for hats, beanies, polos and hoodies. It is too heavy for a thin tee that will be soaked daily. On a cap it is the right finish, and polyester embroidery thread generally keeps its color around bleach better than rayon thread does. Small lettering closes up in thread, so keep hat logos simple.
Ink color matters when the shirt is light. Navy, black, dark green or a strong blue reads clearly on white and pale gray. Pale yellow or light aqua ink on a white shirt disappears from the curb. If your brand color is light, the art can be outlined or set on a darker shape.
A word about bright colors. Safety yellow and orange tees help a driver notice you in a parking lot, but a bright tee is not rated safety gear, and ANSI rated hi-vis apparel is not something we make. If a commercial site requires it, wear the rated vest over your company shirt.
Getting Ready for the Busy Season
Tell us your start date and crew size. If the timing is tight, ask, sometimes it can be done faster.
Pressure Washing Company Shirts That Bring in Calls
You work in front yards, in plain view of every neighbor on the street. People watching a gray driveway turn white are the warmest leads you will ever have, and most will not walk over to ask for a card. The back of your shirt has to hand it to them.
That means a back print built to be read from a distance. Company name on top, the service in a few words, and the phone number as the largest line. Skip the list of every service you offer. Three lines that can be read from the sidewalk beat ten that cannot.
Window cleaning shirts need a different emphasis, because the crew often comes inside. A homeowner letting someone into the living room wants to see a clean, clearly branded shirt and a tidy appearance. A neat chest logo on a fresh tee or polo, with a hat to match, does that job.
Commercial accounts look for the same thing in a different way. Property managers and storefront owners want a crew that looks like a company, not a person with a machine. Matching shirts function as exterior cleaning uniforms even when they are simple tees, and they make a two person outfit look established.
Keep one set clean. Estimates, home shows and photos for your website deserve a shirt without bleach spots. Many owners keep a couple of darker shirts or an embroidered polo aside for the selling side of the business and wear the light printed tees for the washing.
Questions Exterior Cleaning Owners Ask
Is there a minimum order for custom pressure washing shirts?
No. Custom pressure washing shirts can be ordered one piece at a time, which suits owner operators and crews that add seasonal help. The per-piece price drops as the quantity goes up, so a full season's worth ordered together is better value, and single replacements can follow.
What shirt color holds up best to soft wash chemicals?
Light ones. Sodium hypochlorite removes dye, so white, ash and pale gray shirts hide the spotting that ruins navy and black cotton. Polyester fabrics generally keep their color better than cotton. No dyed fabric is immune, so most crews treat custom pressure washing shirts as working gear and reorder through the season.
Will the print survive being wet all day?
A properly cured screen print handles water, sweat and frequent washing well. Bleach tends to harm the dyed fabric around the print before the ink itself. Rinsing shirts after heavy chemical work and washing them promptly helps both last longer. Very large solid prints are the ones to avoid, mainly because they trap heat.
Are your bright shirts rated as hi-vis safety gear?
No. A bright yellow or orange tee makes you easier to notice, and that is all it does. Rated hi-vis apparel is outside what we carry. If a job site calls for it, wear a compliant vest over your company shirt so your branding and your visibility both stay in place.
Should we get short sleeve or long sleeve shirts?
Many crews carry both. A light long sleeve tee keeps sun off your arms during long days and is the piece the studio opens on. Short sleeves suit humid days and indoor window work. With no minimum you can split an order of custom pressure washing shirts between the two and adjust next time.
What should go on the back of the shirt?
Company name, a few words on what you do, and a phone number large enough to read from the sidewalk. Neighbors watching a job are your best leads, and the back of your shirt faces them most of the day. A small chest logo on the front covers conversations at the door.
How long does an order take?
Standard turnaround is about 14 days from the day you approve your proof. Order ahead of your busy season so you are not waiting during the first warm weeks. If your date is tight, ask us. Sometimes it can be done faster, and we will tell you plainly.
Do you ship to companies outside Colorado?
Yes. The shop is in Fort Collins, Colorado, and orders ship across the United States. Design, proof and approval all happen online or by phone. A person answers the phone on weekdays, 9am to 5pm Mountain, if you want to talk through garments or artwork.
