Veterinary Apparel
Custom veterinary apparel for clinics, animal hospitals, groomers, shelters and rescues. Olive Branch Apparel embroiders and prints the polos, tees, hoodies and hats your team wears at the front desk, at community events and on the walk in from the parking lot, from our shop in Fort Collins, Colorado.
Vet clinic shirts for reception, vet tech shirts for the back, and volunteer tees for adoption day can all carry one logo. Design yours in the studio below and see your price as you build, with no minimum order.
Design Your Veterinary Apparel Here
Place your clinic logo on a real garment, set the count, and see the price for custom veterinary apparel update as you go. The studio opens on a smooth performance polo, a fabric that lets pet hair brush off and holds a clean embroidered logo.
Custom Veterinary Apparel Starts with the Fabric
In most workplaces a staff shirt just has to look tidy. In a clinic it also has to deal with fur, claws, slobber and a wash cycle that never stops. Choosing the fabric before the color or the logo saves the most regret.
Smooth Performance Knits
Polyester performance polos and tees have a slick, tightly knit face. Pet hair has little to grab onto, so it brushes or shakes off instead of weaving itself in. They dry quickly after a wipe down and keep their color through frequent hot washing.
The tradeoff is snagging. A claw can pull a loop on a loosely knit performance fabric, so look for styles described as snag resistant. These are the natural choice for the front desk and for anyone who moves between reception and the exam rooms.
Cotton and Fleece
Cotton tees and fleece hoodies are what people want to wear, and they stay comfortable through a long shift. They also hold onto hair. Fleece in particular collects fur on the inside and the outside and keeps much of it through the wash.
Use them where that matters less. Cotton tees work well for kennel staff, groomers, volunteers and event days. Hoodies are best as the layer for cold mornings, break rooms and the drive home, not for restraining a shedding patient on the table.
Color follows the same logic. Heathers and medium tones hide both light and dark fur better than black or white, and they are kinder to the occasional stain between washes.
What We Make for Clinics, Groomers and Rescues

Embroidered Front Desk Polos
A stitched left chest logo on a smooth polo, the standard look for reception and client-facing staff at clinics and animal hospitals.

Printed Team and Volunteer Tees
Screen printed tees for technicians, kennel staff, groomers and rescue volunteers, built for hot washes and easy to reorder as the team changes.

Hoodies, Hats and Beanies
Layers for early shifts, dog walks and outdoor kennel runs, with embroidered hats and beanies that carry the same logo as the polos.

Outfit the Front Desk and the Back Together
One logo across polos, tees and hoodies keeps the count up on a single order, and the per-piece price follows.
Order for One New Hire
No minimum means a single polo for the technician who just joined is a normal order. The per-piece price is lower on bigger runs, but nobody has to wait for a full batch.
See the Logo at Real Size
Your proof shows the mark at the size and placement it will be made. If the practice name is too small to read in thread, you find out before anything is stitched.
A Price the Practice Manager Can Use
The studio shows pricing live as you change garment and quantity, so you can compare a polo order against a tee order without waiting on anyone.
Old Logo Files Are Fine
If the only logo you have is on the sign out front or a scanned letterhead, send it. We clean up or redraw rough art so it stitches and prints well.
When Clinics and Rescues Order Apparel
Veterinary teams rarely order on a schedule. The need shows up in moments, and knowing them ahead of time keeps you from scrambling over a tiny order every time one arrives.
Support roles turn over, so someone is always starting. Keep the logo file and garment choice settled so one or two pieces can be ordered without reopening any decisions.
Vet tech shirts given as a thank you land best when they are something staff would wear on a day off. Choose a softer tee and a lighter design, and order well ahead.
Shelters and rescues need volunteers to be easy to spot in a crowd of visitors. A bright printed tee with a large back print does more than a small chest logo.
Hoodies and beanies get requested the first cold week. Ordering before that week means the team is covered for early shifts, dog walks and time in the outdoor runs.
A simple rhythm covers most practices. Place one main order for the whole team with a few spare pieces in common sizes, then small top-up orders as people join. With no minimum the top-ups are never a problem, and the per-piece price is simply better on the larger run.
How Custom Veterinary Apparel Gets Decorated
Embroidery is the expected finish on polos and hats. Thread has texture and a slight sheen, it does not fade the way ink can, and it holds up through repeated hot washes. For a left chest clinic logo, it is the method that looks most like a uniform.
The limit is detail. Veterinary logos love a paw print, a stethoscope, a dog and cat silhouette, and a long practice name underneath. At left chest size, thin lines and tiny lettering close up in thread. Simplifying the mark or dropping the tagline keeps it legible.
Screen printing suits tees and hoodies ordered in quantity. Each ink color needs its own screen, so one or two colors across the whole staff is the economical route. Properly cured ink on cotton handles the wash cycles that veterinary shirts go through without peeling.
DTF, or direct-to-film, covers the jobs in between. A full-color logo with gradients, a photo of the clinic mascot, or a handful of shirts for a rescue fundraiser can be done without a screen for every color. It is also a useful option on polyester, which can be a tricky fabric for some screen printing inks.
One note on clinical wear. We do not make scrubs. Polos, tees, hoodies and hats are what staff wear over or instead of them at the front desk and off the floor, and they carry the same logo so the whole team reads as one practice.
Opening a New Location or Hosting an Event
Tell us the date and how many people you are outfitting. If the timing is tight, ask, sometimes it can be done faster.
Veterinary Shirts for Rescues, Groomers and Mobile Teams
Shelters and rescues use apparel differently from a clinic. The shirt is identification for volunteers, a thank you for fosters, and often something supporters buy to help fund the work. A design people want to wear in public does more than one that only says volunteer.
For supporter shirts, lead with the artwork and keep the organization name secondary. People tend to wear an appealing illustration of a dog or cat more often than a plain logo. Soft tees in a couple of colors, ordered in a modest first run, let you see what your community actually picks.
Groomers and boarding staff need the opposite. They are wet, hairy and on their feet all day, so the priority is a shirt that dries quickly, releases hair and gets replaced without ceremony. A printed logo on a performance tee is practical and easy to reorder one piece at a time.
Mobile practices and house call teams are the logo in the driveway. A polo with an embroidered chest mark and a hat to match tells the client who has arrived before a word is said. Larger back prints help at farm calls and outdoor clinics, where you are seen from a distance.
Questions Clinic Managers Ask
Is there a minimum order for custom veterinary apparel?
No. Custom veterinary apparel can be ordered one piece at a time, which suits practices where staff join through the year. The per-piece price drops as quantity goes up, so a full team order is the better value, and single pieces for new hires can follow whenever you need them.
Should our clinic logo be embroidered or printed?
On polos, hats and beanies, embroider it. Thread holds up to hot washing and looks the most professional at a front desk. On tees and hoodies, screen printing is usually the better fit, especially for larger designs. Full-color logos and very short runs often suit DTF. We will suggest a method when we see your art.
What fabric is best for hiding pet hair?
Smooth polyester performance fabric releases hair best, since there is little texture for fur to cling to. Fleece and brushed cotton hold the most. Color matters as well. Medium tones and heathers hide a mix of light and dark fur better than black or white, which is worth weighing when you pick custom veterinary apparel for staff who handle animals all day.
How long does an order take?
Standard turnaround is about 14 days from the day you approve your proof. If you are opening a location, hosting an adoption event or planning a staff appreciation gift, count back from that date and leave room for sizing. If your date is tight, ask us. Sometimes it can be done faster, and we will say so plainly either way.
Can we mix polos, tees and hoodies in one order?
Yes. A common setup puts front desk staff in polos, gives technicians and kennel staff tees, and adds hoodies for everyone. Using the same logo across all of them keeps your custom veterinary apparel consistent from reception to the back. The studio shows the price for each garment as you build.
Will our logo work at left chest size?
Usually, with some simplifying. Fine lines, small paw print details and long practice names can close up when stitched small. We look at your art, clean up or redraw what needs it, and show you the result on a proof. You approve that proof before anything is made, so there are no surprises in the box.
Do you ship to clinics outside Colorado?
Yes. The shop is in Fort Collins, Colorado, and orders ship across the United States. Everything from design to proof approval happens online or by phone, so a clinic anywhere in the country orders the same way a local one does. A person answers the phone on weekdays, 9am to 5pm Mountain.
Can a rescue order shirts to sell as a fundraiser?
Yes. A sensible approach is a small first run of a design supporters would wear anyway, followed by reorders of the sizes and colors that move. With no minimum you are not stuck with boxes of unsold shirts, and the studio shows your cost per piece so you can set your own selling price.
