Custom Club Shirts
Custom club shirts for run clubs, book clubs, car clubs, motorcycle riding clubs and hobby groups of every size. Olive Branch Apparel prints and embroiders member tees, hoodies and hats in Fort Collins, Colorado, and ships across the United States.
Whether you need running club shirts for a handful of regulars or club t shirts for a growing membership, there is no minimum order. Design yours in the studio below and see your price change as the member count does.
Design Your Club Shirts Here
Add your club name or logo, pick a color, and watch the price for custom club shirts move as you change the member count. The studio opens on a soft, lightweight tee, the kind members wear on days when the club is not even meeting.
The Hard Part of Custom Club Shirts Is the Group, Not the Shirt
A business order has a boss and a budget. A club order has a volunteer, a group chat and a great many opinions. The printing is the easy part. What sinks most club shirt projects is the stretch between someone saying we should get shirts and anyone actually collecting sizes and money.
Start by shrinking the decision. Let two or three people settle the design, then show the group a finished mockup with one question, which is whether they want one. Open votes on fonts and shirt colors produce a long thread and no order. People are quick to say yes to something that already exists.
Next, get a real price before you ask for money. Build the shirt in the studio at the count you expect and you will see the per-piece price. Check it again at a lower count, because a few members always drop out, and quote the group the more cautious figure.
Then set one deadline for sizes and payment together. A size without payment is a maybe, and maybes leave the organizer covering the difference. A simple shared sheet with name, size and paid is all the system most clubs need.
Finally, order a few spares in common sizes if the club treasury can carry them. New members join all year, and handing one a shirt at their second meetup does more for belonging than any welcome email. If spares are not in the budget, singles can be ordered later, since there is no minimum.
What We Make for Clubs and Hobby Groups

Soft Member Tees
Screen printed club t shirts on a soft, lightweight tee that members wear to meetups, group runs, shows and ordinary weekends.

Long Sleeves and Hoodies
Printed long sleeve tees and hoodies for early morning runs, autumn rides, cold garages and evening meetings out on the patio.

Embroidered Hats and Beanies
Stitched club logos on hats and beanies, a favorite add-on for members who already own the shirt and want something for every day.

Show the Club a Real Design
Build the shirt in the studio, share it with the group, and take orders against a price you have already seen.
New Members Anytime
No minimum order means a single shirt for someone who joined last week is a normal request. The per-piece price is lower on bigger runs, but one piece is always fine.
A Proof the Group Can See
The proof shows the design on the shirt color you chose. Drop it in the group chat, settle any last debate, and approve it knowing nothing prints until you do.
A Price to Quote Members
Set the quantity in the studio and the price updates live. You can tell members what a shirt costs before you collect a single size, and adjust if the count changes.
Sketches and Doodles Welcome
A drawing on paper or a rough file from a member is a fine start. We clean up or redraw rough art so the lines hold and the lettering reads on fabric.
Shirts for Four Kinds of Club
What a good club shirt looks like depends on what the club does while wearing it. The same soft tee works across most of them, but the artwork and the print placement shift with the activity.
Running club shirts get sweated in, so keep the print light and open. A big solid block of ink on the chest holds heat. Bright colors help drivers see the group at dawn.
Book club shirts lean on wit. A short line of type, a small illustration and a soft color usually beat a logo. Members wear these to the cafe, not to a uniform inspection.
Car club shirts carry the art on the back, where a detailed drawing of a car has room. A small chest mark on the front keeps it wearable under a jacket at a cold morning meet.
For motorcycle riding clubs we print casual tees, long sleeves and hoodies with the club name. We do not make patches or vests, so think of these as what members wear off the bike.
Hobby groups of every other kind, from garden clubs to board game nights to hiking groups, fall somewhere among these four. Pick the one closest to how your members will wear the shirt and borrow its approach.
Artwork That Works on Custom Club Shirts
Most clubs do not have a logo. They have a name, an inside joke and a member who is good at drawing. That is plenty to work with. A club name set well in one strong typeface, with a small symbol of what the club does, makes a better shirt than a crowded illustration.
Count the ink colors. In screen printing each color is its own screen and its own setup, so a one or two color design costs less per shirt than a five color one, and usually looks more confident. Let the shirt color do some of the work as an extra color that needs no ink.
Watch the fine detail. Hand drawn art with thin pen lines, small lettering or delicate shading can fill in or break up when it is printed on fabric. We clean up or redraw rough artwork so it prints well, and the proof shows you how the lines held.
If the design truly needs full color, such as a painted car, a book cover parody or a photo of the dog who comes to every run, DTF is the method to ask about. It prints every color at once and suits the small runs clubs often place, without a screen for each color.
Leave the year off unless the shirt marks a specific event. An undated club shirt can be reordered for new members for as long as the club likes it, while a dated one is out of date the following season and sends you back to the group chat to start over.
Big Roster or Several Garments
Send the member count and what you have in mind. If there is a date you are aiming for, ask, sometimes it can be done faster than the standard turnaround.
Choosing the Tee, the Color and the Sizes
Club shirts are worn by choice, and that changes what to buy. Nobody is required to put one on, so a stiff, boxy tee ends up at the bottom of a drawer. A softer, lighter cotton tee gets pulled out of the drawer far more often, which is the whole point of having one.
For clubs that exercise in their shirts, be honest about fabric. Cotton is comfortable for an easy group run or a walk and holds moisture on a hard effort. Many run clubs treat the club tee as the shirt for before and after, and for the coffee stop, and that is a fine use for it.
On color, pick one that suits most people and hides a little wear. Heathered and mid-tone shades are forgiving. If members are split, the same one color print can often go on two shirt colors, as long as the ink contrasts with both. Ask before assuming, since very light and very dark shirts may need different inks.
Sizes are easier than for an event, because you can ask every member directly. Do ask, and do not guess for anyone. A club spans a wide range of bodies, and the fastest way to make a member feel left out is a shirt that was never going to fit.
Questions Club Organizers Ask
Is there a minimum order for custom club shirts?
No. One piece is fine, and so is a full roster. The per-piece price on custom club shirts drops as the quantity goes up, so collecting everyone's order into a single run is the best value. Shirts for members who join later can be ordered one at a time.
How do we collect sizes and money from members?
Keep it simple. Share a mockup and the price, set one deadline, and track name, size and payment in a shared sheet. Count only the members who have paid. The studio shows live pricing, so check the price at your final count before you place the order, since the per-piece price depends on quantity.
We do not have a logo, can you help?
Yes. Many custom club shirts start with only a name and an idea. You can create art in the design studio, or send a sketch or rough file and we will clean it up or redraw it so it prints well. You see a proof and approve it before anything is printed.
What kind of shirt is best for a run club?
A soft, lightweight tee in a color that shows up in low light, with a print that is not a heavy solid block. Cotton tees are comfortable for easy miles and social runs. Keep the design open so the fabric can breathe, and consider a long sleeve tee for the colder months.
Can members choose different colors or garments?
Yes. The same design can go on tees, long sleeve tees and hoodies, and a one color print can often run on more than one shirt color. Keeping custom club shirts to one design and a couple of options holds the total count together, which is what lowers the per-piece price for everyone.
Should the club shirt be printed or embroidered?
For tees, printed. Screen printing suits simple designs in a few colors and is economical once the count climbs. DTF suits full-color art and very small runs. Embroidery is best saved for hats, beanies and polos, where a small stitched club mark looks sharp and wears well.
How long do club shirts take?
Standard turnaround is about 14 days from the day you approve the proof. If the shirts are for a particular race, show, rally or anniversary meetup, count back from that date and leave time for collecting sizes. If the timing is tight, ask. Sometimes it can be done faster.
Can you ship to a club outside Colorado?
Yes. The shop is in Fort Collins, Colorado, and orders ship across the United States. Most clubs have the box sent to the organizer and hand shirts out at the next meetup. A person answers the phone on weekdays, 9am to 5pm Mountain, if you have questions before ordering.
