Where A Hoodie Print Actually Belongs
A hoodie is not a t-shirt with sleeves. The pouch pocket eats the bottom third of the front, so a full front print has to sit higher and smaller than it would on a tee or it collides with the pocket seam.
Most custom hoodie designs work best as a left chest hit, a center chest print above the pocket, or a large back print with something small on the front. The studio shows you the pocket so you can see the collision before it happens.

Picking The Right Hoodie Blank
An 8 oz 50/50 fleece is the standard weight and the cheapest way to get a decent hoodie. It prints cleanly, resists pilling, and is what most people picture when they think hoodie.
Step up to a ring-spun fleece with a cotton face and you get something noticeably softer that reads closer to retail, usually for very little extra per piece. If somebody is going to pay money for it, order the better blank.
What A Custom Hoodie Order Usually Costs
Hoodies cost more than tees because the blank costs more, not because the printing does. The decoration price per piece is close to identical, so the gap between a shirt and a hoodie is mostly the garment itself.
The same volume breaks apply. A dozen hoodies costs meaningfully more per piece than fifty, and the studio shows you exactly where the price steps down as you raise the count.
Hoodie Or Sweatshirt, And When Each One Wins
A crewneck sweatshirt is the same fleece without the hood or the pocket. It costs less, it prints better across the full front because nothing is in the way, and it reads slightly more grown up. If you want to design your own sweatshirt rather than a hoodie, the studio handles it identically.
The hood earns its keep outdoors and in retail. People choose hoodies over sweatshirts at a merch table almost every time, and crews working outside actually use the hood. If the pieces are going to be sold rather than handed out, the hoodie usually moves faster despite costing more.
