You do not need software or a designer to design your own t-shirt. Upload a PNG, a JPG, or a vector file and drag it where you want it. If all you have is a rough idea, start with text and a shape and see how it sits on a real garment.

The part most people get wrong is scale. A logo that looks right on a screen often prints smaller than expected on a shirt. The studio shows your artwork against an actual blank at actual size, so what you see on screen is what lands on the shirt.

Vector art gives the cleanest result, but almost nobody has it on hand. A high resolution PNG or a photo of an existing shirt is usually enough for us to work from, and we will tell you before printing if something will not hold at the size you have chosen.

Fine lines, tiny text, and gradients behave differently in screen printing than they do on a monitor. If your design needs a change to print well, we tell you what and why rather than printing something you will be unhappy with.

One. There is no minimum on custom t-shirts here, so a single shirt for yourself is a real order. The per-shirt price does drop sharply as the count goes up, which is why most orders land between 12 and 48 pieces.

You can change the quantity at any point while you design. The price on screen moves with it, so you can see exactly where the breaks fall before committing to anything.

Screen printing suits larger runs and designs with a low color count. It lays down a thicker, more durable ink and gets cheaper per shirt the more you order, which is why it is the default for team shirts and merch runs.

DTF handles full color artwork and small runs without setup charges per color. If you designed something with a photograph, a gradient, or a dozen colors in it, this is usually the method that makes sense.

Most people who set out to make your own shirt fall into one of four buckets, and the bucket changes the blank more than the artwork does. People who design your own t-shirt for themselves, as a one-off or a gift, want the softest tee they can get because there is only one of them and nobody is counting pennies.

Team and event shirts want the opposite. You are buying forty of something that gets worn once or twice, so a heavy cotton blank at the lowest sensible price does the job. Staff shirts sit in between, because they get washed constantly and need to still look presentable in month six.

Merch is its own category. If somebody is handing over money for the shirt, the blank has to justify it. That is where a heavier garment-dyed tee earns its extra cost, because a custom t-shirt design on a cheap blank is the fastest way to have a table full of unsold stock at the end of the night.
