A long sleeve tee gives you two print locations a t-shirt cannot: a vertical run down the outside of each arm. It is the placement people associate with skate brands, ski towns, and event staff, and it reads clearly when somebody is standing sideways.
Sleeve prints work best as a wordmark or a repeated short phrase running down the arm. Wide logos do not fit the narrow column, so most designs get set vertically or simplified to text for that location.

Long sleeve blanks cost more than tees because there is more fabric in them. Decoration prices the same per location, so the extra you pay is mostly the garment.

Long Sleeves As Sun Protection, Not Just Warmth
Half the long sleeve orders we run have nothing to do with cold. Outdoor crews, guides, and anyone working on water order custom long sleeve tees for coverage, because a shirt is a great deal easier to enforce than sunscreen across a crew of twenty.
That changes which blank makes sense. For sun work you want a lighter, looser weave that breathes rather than a heavy cotton that holds heat, and polyester blends with a UPF rating do the job better than cotton does. It is the same garment doing a completely different job.
